Malaysia Passport Renewal Experience
My passport will be expiring in less than 6 months time. It is a requirement that one won’t be able to travel to another country if the passport has a validity of 6 months or less. My previous renewal experience taught me a precious lesson, that is never do the passport renewal during school holidays. The last time I renewed my passport it was near 5 years (in year 2004) and that was during school holidays. The queue at the Subang Immigration Department was extended up till the roadside. It took me 2 days before I got my passport renewed.

James Bond Quantum of Solace Movie
I had the chance to watch James Bond Quantum of Solace movie preview on Wednesday, the 5th November, 2008. The public screening of the movie is on the next day, Thursday. I got the free tickets for purchasing Sony product recently at Best Denki Malaysia shop. The show kicked off with high-speed car chase scene. There were quite a few of fighting scenes between James Bond and the bad guys. The first 2 bad guys ended up being killed by James Bond. In general, I prefer the old Bond movies. I think the new Bond is trying to be different, more emotional. Daniel Craig, the new James Bond looks macho and at the same time, looks more like a bad guy than a sleek and elegant 007 British agent. As for the Bond girls, I think they could have better ones. One major thing that’s lack in the Quantum of Solace movie is the James Bond’s gadgets. The only impressive stuff (in terms of technology) is the information search displayed on the table. Even then, I think I have seen it in the Mission Impossible movie by Tom Cruise, a few years ago. I look forward to a new James Bond !
The Star Newspaper Thumbnails Submission
I had a surprise this morning when I read the local The Star newspaper. A photo that was taken during the recent Jusco sale was featured under the Thumbnails section. The photo was on a family who had a baby taking a short nap among the clothes. I think for the adults, it is a great sale not to be missed while for the small kid, it was just too tired for the day. It is great seeing your effort displayed on the newspaper.
J Card Members’ Day at Jusco Bandar Utama Review
I got back from J Card Members’ Day sale at Jusco Bandar Utama, feeling real tired. The car traffic was growing as early as 8:30am. Jusco security guards were seen on the roads, directing the traffic. I parked my car at New Wing as the traffic were clearly building up at the Old Wing. When I finally managed to get into the mall at about 9:30am, I saw some people were leaving the mall. Some were seen having breakfasts at Old Kopitiam cafe. A happy young gal who came with the mom told the cafe’s worker that she had some good bargains for the day.

Seats for Comfort at Shopping Malls
Nowadays, shoppers have more shopping mall options. A decade ago, only a handful of big shopping malls were available in Klang Valley. Every year, the best shopping mall in Klang Valley will be chosen as the best shopping mall in terms of shop varieties and facilities. Hence, shopping malls are constantly in the move to attract consumers to their shopping malls.
Curve shopping mall in Klang Valley put out some sofas with coffee tables at most floors for the comfort of their shoppers. Some shoppers took it further by taking naps on the sofas. This was highlighted by a photo snapshot sent to the local Star newspaper. Soon after that, big red signs were put up along the sofas by the Curve management team that says Seat for your comfort, but not for sleeping. I guess Curve has made it real comfy for their shoppers.
