Microsoft Office 2007 Annoying Error Message

November 22, 2008 · Filed Under Technology, Tips · Comment

BCM Office Addin Error Message Recently, I uninstalled the default trial version of Microsoft Office 2007 on my new computer. The trial version was valid for 90 days. Again, I have to say, great marketing skills by Mircrosoft! Immediately after the uninstallation of the trial version, I installed the Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007 version. Even since that day, I always encountered an annoying pop-up error message whenever I loaded any of the Microst Office application. After some reasearch on the net, one of the suggestions was to uninstall the Business Contact Manager that came installed with the Microsoft Office 2007 trial version. I went to the Control Panel and unistall the Business Contact Manager addin as advised. Voila! It works and I no longer receive the BCM Office Addin - Office application version does not match error message.

Microsoft Tech.Ed South East Asia (SEA) 2008 Lunch Feedback

August 27, 2008 · Filed Under Events, Reviews · Comment

I hope future Microsoft Tech.Ed South East Asia (SEA) events will have a bigger hall and better lunch arrangement. Maybe we can have lunch at different times for the large group as it will definitely help to minimize the long queue waiting time. I hope proper tables can be arranged for the buffet-style lunch. There were a few small tables around (without chairs) but most of the attendees needed to stand while holding the heavy plate on one hand. I saw some guys ended up sitting on the floor (sigh).
