Malaysia Traffic Cops set up a special Summon Check Counter at Mid Valley Shopping Mall. Public can check any outstanding summon and settle them at the counter by cash or credit card. Free gifts are given away for different amount paid.

Mid-Autumn Festival
I celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival on 14th September, 2008. The festival is also commonly known as Mooncake Festival to the local Malaysians. Every year, Mid-Autumn Festival is celebrated on the 15th moon day of the 8th of Chinese lunar month. It is a day where the Chinese offers prayers to the moon god, expressing their gratitudes to the heaven and earth for the blessings throughout the year. Family members also get together for lunch or dinner, another great reason to gossips more! This year, it coincidently falls on a Sunday and it gives all family members a good chance to travel back home for the reunion meal.
The New Millionaires by Gobala Krishnan
The New Millionaires (Work From Home Make Money Online Live Like a Millionaire) by Gobala Krishnan is available in the local MPH bookstore. 
I bought a copy at MPH Mid Valley for RM39.90. The book has 5 chapters with about 220 pages worth of nice and easy reading materials. I would recommend the book to beginners who are having some thoughts in making money online. It gives us a wide view on what are the possibilities in making money online. I like chapter 4. Interviews with 12 Malaysian Internet gurus the most, as it is very inspiring hearing from the local malaysians on how they got started and the nice sharings. I feel the book is a little overpriced and it would be nice to be priced at RM29.90, especially for the local market.
Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival 2008
Currently, Malaysia is having Mega Sale Carnival from 5th July until 1st September, 2008. Almost all the shopping malls and street market stalls are having special promotions during this 59 days. It also coincides with Malaysian Independence Day on the 31st. August.

Jaya Jusco promotion (CARD Family Shopping Day) kicks off today at 3rd floor, Hall 1, Mid Valley Exhibition Centre from 18th to 20th, July 2008. I believe crowds will grow over the weekend. I managed to buy 5 pairs of *forest* khaki pants at a 70% discounted rate, definitely a great bargain!

GameAxis Live! 2008 was held at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 11th until 13th July, 2008. Admission was free with exhibition of various games platforms. That would have attracted lots of gamers.
