J Card Members’ Day at Jusco Bandar Utama Review
I got back from J Card Members’ Day sale at Jusco Bandar Utama, feeling real tired. The car traffic was growing as early as 8:30am. Jusco security guards were seen on the roads, directing the traffic. I parked my car at New Wing as the traffic were clearly building up at the Old Wing. When I finally managed to get into the mall at about 9:30am, I saw some people were leaving the mall. Some were seen having breakfasts at Old Kopitiam cafe. A happy young gal who came with the mom told the cafe’s worker that she had some good bargains for the day.

Jusco will be having one day members’ day sale for all J Card members at Jusco Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya on Wednesday (22nd October 2008). The special sale starts from 8:00 am and ends at 11:00pm. Each J Card member is allowed to bring along 2 friends. Many products from various stores will be having discounts from 10% up to 70%. J Card members who spend RM150.00 and above in a single receipt with the Jusco Credit Card are entitled to a RM5.00 Jusco Gift Voucher. Remember not to miss the great sale at Jusco Bandar Utama!
Thumbs UP to Isetan, Suria KLCC
Yesterday was Isetan, Suria KLCC (Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre) members sale day. My good friend, the Meow took the opportunity in contributing to the current Malaysia economic through shopping at Isetan. She landed at the store early in the morning and bought RM1,800.00 worth of Lamer cosmetic products, as ordered by her friend, the Tiger, currently hibernating in Singapore. In the special sale, for every RM100.00 worth of purchases, the members are entitled to RM10.00 voucher. Tiger is very kind to give the RM180.00 worth of vouchers to her dear friend, Meow. Meow took the chance to buy herself the popular Japanese Lucky Cat, Pao for RM180.00. This meow is an avid collector of cats…any cats, you name it, she has it. Psst….she collected many other items too - will blog about it when I’d bribed her with enough fish feasts for her to reveal her “investments”.
PIKOM PC Fair 2008
Pikom PC Fair is back for the second time in 2008. It kicks off today at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for 3 consecutive days (from 1st to 3rd August, 2008). As compared to previous years, the fair has grown much bigger in terms of space, products and varieties. I see not only IT vendors like Dell, HP, Lenovo, Sony and Acer, but also banks (HSBC, Maybank, RHB, UOB) and telecommunication service providers (Maxis, Digi and Celcom).
Malaysia Mega Sale Carnival 2008
Currently, Malaysia is having Mega Sale Carnival from 5th July until 1st September, 2008. Almost all the shopping malls and street market stalls are having special promotions during this 59 days. It also coincides with Malaysian Independence Day on the 31st. August.
