To notify Commenter of subsequent comments via e-mail

As a blog’s audience group grow, the post comments will grow too. It is very useful to allow commenter to have an option to follow up with the comments that they have left on a blog post. I like leaving comments on blogs and instead of having to re-visit the blogs for subsequent comments, I definitely like to be notify of it. After much search, I found a useful Wordpress plugin that met my needs, known as Subscribe to Comments. It is a very straightforward installation. Just download, unzip and activate the plugin as per normal practice.

To Auto Submit Web Page to Major Search Engines via Wordpress Plugin

In an earlier post (To submit web site to Search Engines for better visibility), I wrote on how we can submit a website URL to search engines for free. Now, I have found a better way, an auto submission of web page to major search engines via Wordpress plugin, Google XML Sitemaps. Google XML Sitemaps plugin is applicable to all Wordpress generated blogs and custom ones. Google XML Sitemaps will create a Google sitemaps compliant XML-Sitemap of a Wordpress blog. Google XML Sitemaps will update the sitemap everytime a change is made to a web site, either a modification, deletion or addition. All the major search engines like Google, ASK.com, Yahoo and MSN Search will be notified automatically of the XML Sitemap changes. Google XML Sitemaps works with Wordpress 2.1 and higher.

Wordpress introduced Plugins from version 1.2 onwards. It is basically a piece of code that extends the capabalities of Wordpress. These days, a big database of wordpress plugins are available freely for installation. Do ensure that it is compatible with the current installed wordpress version before proceeding with installation.
